As a certified life coach, I help high achieving, highly sensitive humans break away from the grind and discover a happier, more authentic lifestyle. Prior to coaching, I obtained certification as a yoga and meditation teacher. I am also a Doctor of Dental Medicine and hold a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology.
This used to be be me: chronically anxious, high achieving and on a mission to appear “normal”. After witnessing a profound shift in my life when I gained freedom from anxiety, I knew I wanted to help others do the same. Overpowering anxiety is often, and was in my case, a response to self abandonment.
I draw from my unique set of experiences and training to hold compassionate space for you as you share your story, your struggles and your vision for yourself. Together we collaborate on your unique journey. I teach you practices for nervous system regulation and empowerment. I celebrate with you as you traverse new ground, and we gently sift out blocks and obstacles that may come up along the way.
This work is fun, it’s rewarding, and it can be challenging. Good thing we don’t have to do it alone!
My role as a coach is to witness you and reflect what I see back to you. To highlight on your strengths, and to support you in working through challenges. I help you connect with your values in order to set aligned goals, and guide you as you navigate the work of learning, questioning, releasing and replacing. Your role is to be curious, to believe in yourself, to be open to seeing things in a new way.
This work is intended to guide you back to yourself. By that I mean, meeting yourself with awe and compassion. The self you were before you learned you had to be someone else. On this path, you will begin to see yourself more clearly. You will gain love and appreciation for your true essence and an understanding of all of the reasons you had to adapt and modify.
Learning to be in a supportive, loving relationship with self, allows us to build more satisfying relationships and live in harmony with the world around us.
Coaching sessions with Julia have been very beneficial for my life overall. Going into coaching I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m so glad I took the opportunity. I tend to overthink, overanalyze, and generally be inside my own head quite often. She has helped me organize my thoughts, goals, and life in general. She is caring, attentive, and has a great memory. She listens, shares insight on helpful and unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, and provides notes of each sessions with helpful exercises and “homework” assignments. I highly recommend her coaching.

I have been fortunate to have Julia coach me in my personal life. Her knowledge has provided me with valuable insight on how to deal with the negative feelings and behaviors that have been holding me back in life. Her compassion and patience were instrumental in making me feel comfortable during our sessions. I would absolutely recommend Julia as a life coach to anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life. Julia has been a great resource and help during difficult times—working with Julia has given me more peace in my life.

It was a true pleasure working with Julia and an invaluable experience to have a weekly safe space in which I could work through some of my most complicated feelings. The focus of our sessions centered on my questions regarding the role of a romantic relationship in my already full life as a single mom. Julia skillfully guided me on a journey of self discovery in which we dove into my values, my triggers, my limiting beliefs and more. Julia also taught me a number of methods to ground myself and help stop my thoughts from spinning out of control. I find that I now hear Julia’s voice in my head a bit when I remind myself to not force myself to make decisions rapidly or to not panic about a particular variable as long as my key values are being met. I’d definitely recommend Julia as an insightful, emotionally intelligent, sensitive and dedicated coach.
