As a coach, I facilitate this transformation by teaching you how to go inward and tend to your needs, blocks and emotions.
Maybe you followed the script and did all of the things you had to do to survive, to fit and to keep advancing.
Perhaps there came a time when, you realized there is no end point to this striving.
You are curious about the inward path to peace and fulfillment, but don't know where to begin.
I did not always have a healthy relationship with myself. I spent the greater part of my childhood and early twenties anxious, and running away from it. Anxious and pretending that if I ignore it and just act normal, no one else will know and therefore it will not be an issue.
What I did always have was the curiosity to understand more deeply what was going on for me and others around me. I constantly exposed myself to new experiences and people. Comfortable and uncomfortable, challenging and safe. My exploration and inquiry have lead me to practices, people and personal insights. They led, and continue to lead, me on a journey of growth and healing.
After reaching a point of burnout in my mid-twenties, I discovered that in order to heal, I could no longer be guided by the image of what I thought was acceptable and expected of me, I actually had to go inside and listen. I had to find the patience and compassion to be with what was coming up for me. I began the process of meeting myself. Myself, outside of what I absorbed from others and the stories of my past. I gained tools to quiet my mind and regulate my nervous system. This created space for me to take in new sensations and information. I started to witness the natural world with gratitude and awe. I gained a deeper understanding of who I was, what brought me joy, what I was drawn to, what I was repelled by, and what I was curious about. This beautiful information resides in each of us. Equipped with this information, I began building a life I love and found peace in the process.
I long for a world where we can all feel safe. Where all people and experiences are treated with kindness, compassion and curiosity. Where there is room for all of us to be happy, healthy and empowered. My experience of going inward and my unique background and training allows me to hold deeply compassionate space for others who may be going through similar experiences.
